Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid/senior associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Public M&A team in New York. Duties

  • Engage in M&A transactions involving public companies on both the sell-side and buy-side.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of general M&A and transactional experience.
  • Experience with public company transactions preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Tech and/or Life Sciences industries is a plus.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
