• Trademark Clearance, Prosecution, and Maintenance:
  • Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches and provide detailed analysis of search results, offering strategic recommendations for US and international filings.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of trademark applications, including responding to office actions, and ensuring compliance with trademark laws across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage the maintenance and renewal of trademarks, ensuring all deadlines and filings are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Trademark Enforcement and Licensing:
  • Represent clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB, drafting pleadings, response briefs, and implementing strategic approaches to protect or challenge trademarks.
  • Investigate and resolve trademark infringements through cease and desist letters, demand letters, and DMCA takedown notices.
  • Negotiate and draft licensing, assignment, and work-for-hire agreements for trademarks and copyrights, advising clients on best practices for brand protection and risk management.
• Client and Foreign Counsel Management:
  • Maintain client relationships by providing timely updates and comprehensive reports on trademark matters.
  • Instruct and coordinate with foreign counsel on trademark issues and filings across various jurisdictions.
