Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level to Senior Technology Transactions Associate to join their team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial matters involving intellectual property, including licensing, trade secret protection, and privacy issues.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate service agreements, including development, manufacturing, and distribution contracts.
• Advise on intellectual property and technology issues in corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Evaluate and provide guidance on IP matters in corporate carve-outs, LBOs, and debt financings.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in technology transactions and intellectual property matters.
• Active member of the bar in the state of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.
