Duties

  • Represent clients in intellectual property and patent litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and prepare for trial.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in intellectual property and patent litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school.
  • Strong academic credentials, preferably from a top-tier law school.
  • Background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
  • CAFC clerkship experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in PTAB disputes is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California State Bar.
