A law firm in Colorado Springs is seeking a Civil Litigation Partner with 10+ years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in construction defect, real estate, HOA disputes, general litigation, and courtroom experience. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional writing and verbal skills, provide excellent customer service, and excel as a collaborative team player. Active admission to the Colorado Bar is required.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including construction defect, real estate disputes, HOA disputes, and general litigation.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients throughout all stages of litigation.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Represent clients in settlement negotiations.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate case developments effectively.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff.
  • Collaborate with other partners and legal professionals within the firm.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough case records and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Active admission to the Colorado Bar.
  • 10+ years of experience in civil litigation, focusing on construction defect, real estate, HOA disputes, and general litigation.
  • Proven courtroom experience and proficiency in handling diverse civil litigation cases.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in legal work.
  • Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education:

Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
