Associate Attorney needed for San Diego office

Location:

• San Diego, CA

Duties:

• Draft legal documents and correspondence with precision, ensuring compliance with legal standards
• Assist in the litigation process, including preparing briefs, motions, and other legal documents
• Handle motion work and discovery in complex cases
• Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress
• Attend in-person court appearances as required
• Participate in client workshops, with occasional travel
• Attend monthly all-staff meetings and/or work in the office part-time during transition phase
• Independently manage and work on unique and complex cases

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of legal experience litigation
• Licensed to practice law in California (Required)
• Strong writing, research, and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to handle motion work and discovery
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex cases
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client workshops
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
• Must be able to commute to the San Diego office when required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar License (Required)
