Duties

• Manage and litigate mass tort cases from intake through trial or settlement

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery requests, and motions

• Oversee document review and discovery processes involving large case files

• Collect and evaluate medical records and other supporting evidence

• Coordinate with expert witnesses, investigators, and technical consultants

• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, court hearings, and negotiations

• Develop legal strategies and contribute to team-based case theory discussions

• Prepare trial exhibits and assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, legal guidance, and support

• Track case deadlines, maintain organized documentation, and ensure compliance with litigation timelines

• Stay current on developments in mass tort litigation and evolving legal trends

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mass tort or complex civil litigation

• Strong knowledge of tort law, product liability, environmental law, and class actions

• Demonstrated experience in depositions, discovery management, and litigation strategy

• Ability to handle a high caseload and manage multiple complex cases simultaneously

• Proficiency in coordinating with experts and working on large-scale claims

• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management abilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
