Supreme Court and Appellate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Houston is seeking a skilled Supreme Court and Appellate Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills, along with a background as a judicial clerk, preferably for a federal or state appellate court. This position requires a completed JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials. The successful candidate will excel in legal research, possess superb writing and oral communication skills, exhibit strong interpersonal abilities, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex appellate issues.
• Draft persuasive briefs, motions, and appellate documents.
• Prepare for oral arguments before appellate courts.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and development.
• Review and analyze lower court records for appeals.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and precedents.

Requirements:

• Completed JD from an accredited law school.
• Experience as a judicial clerk, preferably for a federal or state appellate court.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research skills.
• Superb writing and oral communication abilities.

Education:

JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
