Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated, bilingual Personal Injury Attorney with a focus on pre-litigation cases. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least 2 years of experience in Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation law, and fluency in Spanish is required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing high-volume cases, providing expert legal advice, and handling a variety of legal matters for personal injury and workers' compensation clients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of client care.

Duties:

  • Provide legal guidance to clients regarding business transactions, claims liability, and legal rights.
  • Interpret and explain laws, rulings, and regulations to individuals and businesses.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, updating them on case progress and developments.
  • Gather evidence and interview clients and witnesses to build a case.
  • Evaluate case facts and develop strategies for legal arguments.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development by attending educational opportunities and reviewing relevant legal publications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring confidentiality and trust.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, planning, and dependability while managing case files.
  • Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of legal practice, from research to documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury law and workers' compensation.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (Required).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective legal strategies and case preparations.
  • Ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with clients.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Required).

Certifications:

  • License to practice law in South Carolina (Required).
  • License to practice law in North Carolina and/or Georgia is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong command of legal research and reporting.
  • Ability to interpret laws and communicate them effectively to clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish for client communication (Required).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
