A law firm in Edmonds is seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer with 4+ years of experience to provide legal advice, conduct depositions, hearings, and trials, and draft necessary legal documents for clients. The ideal candidate must be an active member of the Washington State Bar Association and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in Office Suite.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and work product to a supervising attorney or client.
  • Meet with clients and counsel them on their legal needs.
  • Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Draft all necessary legal documents in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Strategize conflicts, issues, or approaches to cases.
  • Conduct legal research and interview clients or witnesses.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Collaborate with colleagues with specialty in certain areas for optimal client outcomes.

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Civil Litigation Lawyer.
  • Admission to and active membership in the Washington State Bar Association.
  • Passed the Washington State Bar Exam.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with PracticeMaster/TABS (a plus).
  • Proficiency in Office Suite.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar Association.
