Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Clayton, MO is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney. The candidate will handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution. Interface directly with attorneys and clients to provide legal advice and guidance. Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Admission to the Missouri Bar.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar preferred.
• Ability to work independently and productively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Outstanding judgment.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects.

Education:

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Missouri Bar.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar preferred.
