A law firm is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, And Data Innovation Litigation Associate Attorney:

Job Overview:

The Cyber, Privacy, And Data Innovation Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a robust pipeline of sophisticated litigation cases, including class actions, across various industry verticals such as technology, finance, life sciences, and energy. The role offers an opportunity to manage all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including direct client interaction, discovery management, deposition handling, court appearances, oral arguments, and mediation.

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of complex disputes and litigation cases, including class actions.
  • Work directly with clients to understand and address their legal needs.
  • Manage the discovery process with the support of the firm's industry-leading eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team.
  • Take and defend depositions as necessary.
  • Make court appearances and handle oral arguments at key hearings.
  • Handle mediations and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Membership to the CA State Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive and critical thinker who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong legal research abilities and superb writing skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership to the CA State Bar.
