Senior Attorney needed for Austin office

A law firm headquartered in Austin, TX is in search of a Senior Attorney to join their team. The Senior Attorney role entails conducting and defending depositions, managing case dockets, and representing clients in court proceedings. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for interactions with clients, legal professionals, and third parties. Additionally, producing high-quality deliverables, promptly responding to correspondence, and consistently meeting deadlines are essential aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in civil litigation and possess excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Duties:

• Conduct and defend depositions
• Manage case dockets efficiently
• Represent clients in court appearances
• Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and third parties
• Produce high-quality deliverables in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to phone calls and correspondence
• Meet deadlines and fulfill assigned duties diligently
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required
• Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by the firm

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience with multi-district litigation is desirable

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Texas (or ability to waive in)
