This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional travel required to various Massachusetts counties. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of family law litigation experience, with a focus on divorce and custody cases. Location:

Duties:

  • Act as the lead attorney on high-conflict divorce and custody cases

  • Manage litigation from case filing through to final judgment

  • Strategically guide clients toward resolution, with the option to take cases to trial when necessary

  • Collaborate with a supportive, mission-driven team

  • Operate within a structured firm that offers mentorship and guidance, but with no micromanagement

  • Manage 35-45 active cases at a time, providing strategic direction

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (Required)

  • 3+ years of family law litigation experience in divorce and custody cases (Required)

  • Experience managing at least 30-50 cases as lead attorney (Required)

  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills (Required)

  • Reliable transportation for court appearances in several Massachusetts counties (Required)

  • Ability to manage a significant caseload with strategic direction (Required)

  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate high-conflict cases (Required)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet (Required)

  • A good sense of humor and a growth mindset (Required)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Required)

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (Required)
