Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Litigation Associate with a strong background in business and commercial litigation to join its team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience and will demonstrate excellent academic credentials, alongside strong writing and communication abilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases in a collaborative environment, contributing significantly to the firm's litigation efforts.

Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload of business and commercial litigation matters.
• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Research case law and legal precedents to support litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and guide junior associates.
• Maintain and manage client relationships and communicate case developments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business and commercial litigation.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex cases and deadlines.
• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
• Strong client interaction skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in legal research and case management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to think critically and provide practical legal solutions.
• Clerking experience is a plus but not required.
