Job Overview
A law firm is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Attorney to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims. This role requires close collaboration with other attorneys to develop case strategies and lead case management teams, ensuring exceptional legal representation for clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence.

Duties

• Manage all phases of personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
• Draft and file necessary legal documents in pre-litigation.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing to practice law in the state.
• 12+ years of personal injury experience with a focus on pre-litigation.
• Excellent knowledge of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to personal injury cases.
• Strong research and analytical skills to interpret and apply legal precedents, statutes, and regulations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence.
• Proven track record in successful case management and client representation.
• Experience conducting legal research and providing sound legal advice.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, managing multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in the state of practice.
