Patent Agent

Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent agent with 2-3 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications and providing counseling. The candidate should preferably have a strong science background, with at least an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields. Must be registered to practice before the USPTO. Experience working with medical devices and/or life science industries is preferred. Experience as a patent agent in a law firm is a plus. Experience as a USPTO examiner is also a plus.

The candidate must have strong academic credentials. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed. The firm offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
