Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated Litigation Attorney for its Oakland, CA office. The attorney will assist K-12 schools and community colleges in navigating a variety of legal challenges.

Duties

• Manage a full caseload independently, handling cases from start to finish.
• Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of litigation experience, covering the full spectrum of civil litigation.
• California Bar admission required.
• Experience in insurance defense and public entity defense preferred.
• Federal court and trial experience beneficial but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
