Job Overview

A law firm seeks a passionate and knowledgeable associate attorney in Anaheim, CA. This role involves working hands-on from the inception of a case to trial, supported by an enthusiastic team. The position offers the opportunity to engage in active litigation across a broad range of personal injury cases.

Duties

  • Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation and execution.
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration, advocating effectively at each stage.
  • Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, including engaging in regular settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
  • Manage caseload independently while collaborating with company attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active State Bar membership in applicable job location.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of personal injury or similar law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active State Bar membership in applicable job location.

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities.
