Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on healthcare matters, with a focus on peer review, medical staff, and medical group issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare regulations and compliance matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
  • Advise healthcare providers on regulatory compliance, licensing, and accreditation matters.
  • Assist in peer review proceedings and medical staff credentialing matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 4-8 years of experience in healthcare law, with a focus on peer review, medical staff, medical group matters, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Superior research, writing, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
