Attorney needed for Los Angeles office

A law firm located in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Attorney who will be responsible for legal research, drafting motions and discovery, negotiating settlements, and managing cases and clients. The ideal candidate should be a member in good standing of the California Bar with strong legal writing skills, effective communication, and advocacy skills. Experience in handling mass tort litigation and class actions is considered a plus.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research on various legal issues and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Manage and maintain client relationships, providing updates and answering inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties on case strategy and execution.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Review and analyze case facts, documents, and evidence.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
• Handle case and client management duties efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
• Strong legal writing skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and advocacy skills.
• Experience in mass tort litigation and class actions (preferred but not required).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to client service and satisfaction.

Education and Certifications:
