This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on both detained and non-detained matters before USCIS and EOIR, as well as provide strategic counsel on a range of immigration issues. Location:

  • Phoenix, Arizona

Duties:

  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals

  • Prepare and review various immigration applications including family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, and naturalization

  • Conduct legal intakes with detained individuals and prepare case strategies

  • Counsel clients on immigration concepts, rights, and legal options

  • Draft legal briefs, motions, and supporting documentation for USCIS and EOIR matters

  • Participate in strategic immigration consultations with prospective clients

  • Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and USCIS interviews

  • Maintain and manage an active caseload using electronic case management software

  • Coordinate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law developments

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in immigration law

  • Strong working knowledge of removal defense, USCIS applications, and detained cases

  • Experience with family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, and EOIR proceedings

  • Familiarity with case management software (preferred)

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines independently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active member of a U.S. state bar in good standing

  • Arizona Bar admission or eligibility preferred
