Job Overview

A law firm seeks an empathic and experienced personal injury attorney in Seattle, WA, to assist clients in obtaining justice and compensation for their injuries. The attorney will manage case files from inception to resolution, supported by a team of skilled legal professionals. Candidates should possess excellent credentials, a minimum of three years of personal injury litigation experience, and a genuine passion for client advocacy.

Duties

  • Represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation.
  • Maintain updated documentation of all case files in the case management system.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to legal assistants, paralegals, and case managers.
  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to gather information.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in computer use is essential.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is required.
  • Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in relevant practice areas is necessary.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree and J.D. degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
