A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for their Centennial, CO office. The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling cases pre-litigation as well as cases in suit. They must be licensed to practice in Colorado and possess strong written, analytical, and organizational skills. The role includes investigating insurance claim files, drafting demands, handling cases in litigation including court appearances and depositions, as well as conducting legal research and drafting pleadings. The responsibilities will increase with training, leading to eventual responsibility for an individual caseload. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience.

 

Duties:

  • Handle cases pre-litigation and in suit.
  • Investigate insurance claim files.
  • Draft demands and legal documents.
  • Handle cases in litigation, including court appearances and depositions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
  • Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
  • Maintain case files and deadlines.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members on case management.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.
  • Strong written and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:
