Job Overview:

The Entry-level Guardianship Attorney will provide assistance to the Senior Attorney by reviewing petitions and offering support in guardianship matters. The ideal candidate should possess an active Bar membership, strong communication and negotiation skills, exceptional research and analytical abilities, the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals and their families, keen attention to detail and organizational skills, and a demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional conduct.

 

Duties:

  • Assist the Senior Attorney in reviewing guardianship petitions.
  • Provide legal support and representation in guardianship matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing parties, and the court.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and orders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and professionals on case strategy.
  • Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.

 

Requirements:
