Immigration Associate

Job Overview:

A leading national law firm is seeking a business immigration associate with at least 2 years of experience to support its growing Labor & Employment practice. The associate will work on a range of employment-based immigration matters in a collaborative, multi-office team environment. Location:

Duties:

• Handle a range of business immigration matters for corporate clients

• Prepare and file:

  • PERM labor certifications

  • H-1B petitions

  • L-1 petitions

• Manage client communications and expectations

• Work cross-functionally with attorneys and staff in other offices

• Provide strategic advice on immigration processes and compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business immigration law

• Direct experience with PERM, H-1B, and L-1 visa filings

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated commitment to client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Effective communication with clients, colleagues, and government agencies

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
