A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Mid-level Corporate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience and a strong foundation in corporate practice. The ideal candidate will have expertise in M&A, financings, and a broad range of commercial agreements. This role requires comfort in direct client exposure, including acting in an outside general counsel capacity, and experience in the creative services, advertising, and social media industries is a plus. Superior academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advising on novel and innovative deals are fundamental.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of corporate transactions, including M&A and financings.
  • Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
  • Provide direct client exposure and act in an outside general counsel role.
  • Work with clients in the creative services, advertising, and social media industries.
  • Advise on novel and innovative deals.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to achieve strategic objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate practice.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Experience in M&A, financings, and commercial agreements.
  • Comfortable with direct client exposure.
  • Exposure to creative services, advertising, and social media industries is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
