A law firm located in Indianapolis is seeking a highly experienced Labor and Employment Associate/Of Counsel with a minimum of 10 years of litigation experience in the field. The successful candidate must be licensed to practice law in Indiana.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in labor and employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination cases.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment issues, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Conducted legal research and analysis to support case strategy and provided recommendations to clients.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for filing in state and federal courts.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, representing clients' interests in labor and employment disputes.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective legal strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Indiana.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in labor and employment litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and litigating complex labor and employment cases.
