Job Overview

A law firm seeks an empathic and experienced personal injury attorney in Los Angeles, CA, to assist clients in achieving justice and compensation for their injuries. The attorney will manage case files from start to finish with support from a team of skilled legal professionals.

Duties

  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to gather information.
  • Represent clients at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation.
  • Research case law and gather relevant evidence, including insurance policies and medical records.
  • Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

  • Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law.
  • Minimum of three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law, medical terminology, and civil litigation.
  • Proficiency in computer use.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • J.D. degree.

Certifications

  • California State License.

  • Excellent legal research and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and delegate tasks effectively.
