Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Securities Attorney with over 6 years of experience to join its Investment Funds Group in a professional/non-partnership track position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate law, focusing on real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and complex financings. This role will involve representing public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, restructurings, and the development of commercial real estate. Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. This position is available at multiple office locations across the United States.

Location:

  • Las Vegas, CA

Duties:

  • Manage structured securities offerings, including acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings in the real estate sector
  • Represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in real estate finance and development transactions
  • Provide legal counsel on complex real estate financings
  • Draft and negotiate related securities and real estate agreements
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to address legal issues and strategies
  • Offer sound business judgment and timely legal advice
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings
  • Experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred
  • Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where applying

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction of employment
