Job Title: Immigration Attorney

Job Overview

A prestigious law firm in San Francisco, CA, seeks experienced Immigration Attorneys to handle employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian-based immigration cases. This role emphasizes quality, client communication, and adherence to legal excellence in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications, including employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian-based cases.
  • Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFE), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOID), Notices of Intent to Revoke (NOIR), audits, motions, and appeals.
  • Conduct quality control and review non-attorney staff work.
  • Manage 100+ case files while adhering to deadlines and client needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address case-related questions.
  • Collaborate with the team in meetings and training sessions to align with firm values and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business immigration.
  • An active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Proven ability to manage a high caseload efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, including written legal documents and client-facing interactions.
  • Experience with immigration case management systems such as INSZOOM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Slack is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to professional growth and excellence in legal practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the California State Bar.

Skills

  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills, especially for declarations, motions, and briefs.
  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in technology-enabled legal practices and tools.
