A law firm seeks a junior-level associate with general debt finance experience to join its Banking group in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting and negotiating commitment papers, security agreements, credit agreements, and other loan documents, along with UCC and general corporate experience.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate commitment papers and security agreements.
  • Prepare and review credit agreements and other loan documents.
  • Engage in general corporate legal work.

Requirements

  • General debt finance experience required.
  • Experience with UCC and corporate law preferred.
  • High level of academic achievement preferred.
  • Solid law firm experience preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in Illinois.
