Associate - Corporate Investment Funds

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate to join its Corporate Investment Funds team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in liquidity transactions, secondaries markets, and related fund operational matters.

Duties

• Advise fund sponsors on liquidity transactions, including continuation funds and recapitalizations.
• Handle traditional LP portfolio sales and fund-level preferred equity investments.
• Provide counsel on GP-level preferred equity investments and investments in firm sponsors.
• Collaborate with global teams to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in investment funds and liquidity solutions.
• Proven track record in handling complex fund operational matters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois.
