Job Overview:
A respected and growing law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions. This opportunity offers high-level exposure to a wide range of commercial real estate work, including leasing, acquisitions, financings, and development. Location:

  • Eden Prairie, MN

Duties:

  • Handle a high volume of commercial real estate transactions

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and purchase/sale agreements

  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review

  • Prepare conveyance documents, easements, and related ancillary real estate agreements

  • Coordinate and manage closings

  • Support development transactions and real estate aspects of M&A deals

  • Contribute to projects involving renewable energy-related transactions (preferred)

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law

  • Prior experience in commercial leasing, acquisitions, and financing

  • Familiarity with development transactions, M&A real estate components, and renewable energy (a plus)

  • Strong legal writing and analysis skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic performance required

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Minnesota (or eligible for admission)

Skills:

  • Precision and attention to detail in drafting and reviewing real estate documents

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency in managing transactions from inception to closing

  • Strong negotiation skills and practical legal judgment
