Job Overview

A law firm seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Associate Attorney in Irvine, CA, to join their growing team. This role involves handling a broad range of personal injury cases, from inception to trial, with the support of an enthusiastic team. The ideal candidate will engage in active litigation, including depositions, discovery, mediation, and trial participation.

Duties

  • Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Manage caseload independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active State Bar membership in applicable job location.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of personal injury or similar law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active State Bar membership in applicable job location.
