Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice/Personal Injury

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury to join their team in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will engage in active litigation, handling cases from inception to trial, and will work on a variety of cases including auto accidents, premises liability, and elder abuse.

Duties

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Manage caseload independently while collaborating with team members.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar membership in applicable job location.
• 2-4 years of experience in medical malpractice and personal injury law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and courtroom advocacy abilities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
