A law firm in McLean is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will primarily handle employment defense litigation, restrictive covenant litigation, and business litigation and provide employment and business counseling. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills and have 1-3 years of litigation experience.

 

Duties:

  • Handle employment defense litigation, restrictive covenant litigation, and business litigation cases.
  • Provide employment and business counseling to clients.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Assist in trial preparation and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case management and strategy.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Current member of the Virginia Bar in good standing with no discipline history.
  • 1-3 years of experience in litigation.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
