Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with two to five years of financial services litigation experience to join their San Francisco, California office. The role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for courtroom exposure and trial preparation, guided by experienced partners.

Duties

  • Manage case files and engage in motion practice.
  • Participate in courtroom proceedings and depositions.
  • Engage in alternative dispute resolution and trial preparation.
  • Draft and analyze pleadings and motions.
  • Conduct e-discovery and fact development.
  • Propound and respond to written discovery.
  • Appear in state and federal courts for various pre-trial matters.

Requirements

  • Active California license required.
  • Experience in regional, national, or reputable local law firms preferred.
  • Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UCL/UDAP.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
