A reputable law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance defense practice. This role offers a dynamic environment where attorneys can independently manage cases while receiving guidance from experienced mentors. The position involves handling all aspects of litigation, from case analysis to trial representation.

Duties:

• Analyze intricate legal and factual matters, conducting thorough research to develop defense strategies.

• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and legal briefs supporting client positions.

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, insurance carriers, and claims personnel.

• Collaborate with opposing counsel, courts, and witnesses as required throughout case proceedings.

• Ensure the timely and effective resolution of assigned cases.

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license (additional admissions in DE or WV are a plus).

• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.

• Proven ability to manage case files and handle litigation independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (other State Bar admissions are advantageous).
