Associate Attorney needed for Des Moines office

Location:

Duties:

• Handle family law cases including divorce, custody, child support, and related matters

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations

• Maintain detailed and organized case files

• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and legal guidance

• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas within the firm

Requirements:

• 0–5 years of legal experience

• Demonstrated interest in family law

• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

• Willingness to handle a fast-paced caseload

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the State of Iowa (or eligibility to obtain Iowa licensure prior to start date)
