A law firm in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate law.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, purchase agreements, and other real estate documents.
  • Conduct due diligence, title examinations, and environmental assessments for commercial properties.
  • Advise clients on zoning regulations, land use issues, and other regulatory matters.
  • Handle closings and ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes related to commercial real estate.
  • Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, real estate professionals, and stakeholders on complex transactions and projects.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Missouri.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Experience with commercial leasing, acquisitions, and development projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with real estate finance and lending transactions is preferred but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
