Job Overview

A law firm seeks experienced attorneys for multiple positions in Chicago, IL. The firm is expanding and looking for motivated individuals to join their team, focusing on immigration, foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, real estate, and family law. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred for immigration roles.

Duties

  • Provide high-quality legal representation throughout all phases of each case.
  • Manage an active caseload while maintaining strong communication with clients.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, petitions, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct court appearances, hearings, mediations, and interviews as applicable.
  • Perform legal research and develop case strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with support staff, paralegals, and fellow attorneys.
  • Uphold standards of professionalism, compassion, and ethical conduct.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois (or pending admission).
  • Ability to manage cases, communicate clearly, and work independently.
  • Strong writing, organization, and client-relation skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois
