Job Overview
A personal injury law firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its team in Glendale, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least 2 years of personal injury law experience who is ready to manage cases from inception through settlement or trial. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys, assist with case strategy, and provide high-quality legal counsel to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents including complaints, briefs, motions, and discovery requests
  • Conduct depositions and other discovery-related activities
  • Manage cases, including updating client files and tracking case progress
  • Assist in trial preparation, attend court proceedings, hearings, and mediations
  • Provide legal counsel to clients throughout the personal injury claims process
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and case strategy
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the State Bar in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership (California Bar preferred)
