Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Glendale, CA, to join their Personal Injury team. The successful candidate will manage cases from inception through settlement or trial, collaborating with senior attorneys to provide exceptional legal counsel. This role requires prior experience in personal injury law and a commitment to client advocacy.

Duties

  • Prepare legal documents including complaints, briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct depositions and other discovery-related activities.
  • Handle case management and update client files with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Assist in trial preparation and attend court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients throughout the personal injury claims process.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and case strategy.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of personal injury law experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active member of the State Bar in good standing.

Skills
