This role involves representing insurance clients in complex personal injury and product liability cases. Candidates should bring proven litigation capabilities, particularly in managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, preparing motions, and participating in courtroom proceedings.

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters, including serious injury and product liability claims

• Handle all aspects of litigation, from pleadings through trial preparation

• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

• Attend court appearances, including conferences and motion hearings

• Draft, research, and argue motions and other legal memoranda

• Collaborate with legal teams, clients, and experts to build effective defense strategies

• Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition and trial

• Keep clients informed of case status and legal developments

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation

• Background in serious personal injury and product liability defense

• Demonstrated courtroom and deposition experience

• Ability to independently handle a litigation caseload

• Strong analytical and case management skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Texas Bar (mandatory)
