Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level associate to join its telecommunications practice in Dallas, TX. The role involves advising domestic and international clients on commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters within the digital infrastructure ecosystem.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate commercial infrastructure agreements, including terrestrial, subsea, and space-based services.
  • Advise clients on licensing for satellite and spectrum initiatives.
  • Provide regulatory guidance on telecommunications, wireless, space, and submarine cable matters.
  • Conduct due diligence and structure commercial arrangements bridging technology and policy.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial contracting and transactions.
  • Experience in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, or technology sectors preferred.
  • Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications regulatory frameworks is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage sophisticated agreements.
