A law firm seeks an Executive Compensation and Benefits Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their team in Washington, D.C. The role involves working within the Tax practice area, providing legal expertise in executive compensation and benefits.

Duties

• Advise on executive compensation and equity incentive arrangements in M&A transactions.
• Design, draft, and administer equity incentive plans and related agreements.
• Provide guidance on relevant Code provisions, including Sections 83, 421-424, 409A, 280G, and 162(m).
• Offer day-to-day and transactional advice on retirement and welfare plans.
• Coordinate with corporate, tax, and securities teams for client interactions.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of post-JD experience in relevant areas.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
