Litigation Attorney

A law firm in downtown Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its personal injury civil litigation department in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of personal injury litigation experience and be skilled in trial preparation, depositions, legal research, and managing own caseload. Duties

• Manage and litigate personal injury cases from start to finish.
• Take depositions and defend expert depositions.
• Prepare for and attend trials.
• Make court appearances.
• Draft legal motions, correspondence, and discovery documents.
• Summarize and/or propound discovery.
• Interact with clients to keep them informed about case progress.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft notices and objections.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• General knowledge of California Civil Procedure.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar License (Required).
