Job Overview

A leading law firm with a strong presence in both national and international markets is looking to add a talented First-Party Coverage Attorney to its growing team. This role focuses on property, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation, offering an exciting opportunity to work on complex legal matters within a dynamic and supportive environment. The position is hybrid, providing flexibility while working on both state and federal court cases.

Duties

  • Manage cases related to first-party property, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.

  • Take and defend depositions, prepare trial strategies, and represent clients in court.

  • Handle case management tasks, ensuring timely and efficient legal proceedings.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

  • Engage in business development activities to support firm growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in first-party coverage, property, and bad-faith litigation.

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Experience managing cases in both state and federal courts.

  • Proven track record of drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

  • Ability to take depositions, handle court appearances, and support trial preparation.

  • Bar admission in Pennsylvania is required; additional state admissions are a plus.

  • Excellent communication and client management skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
