  • Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and strategy development
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and marine insurers
  • Maintain detailed case records and meet court filing deadlines

Requirements

  • 2 years of legal experience, with a focus or strong interest in admiralty and maritime law
  • Familiarity with the Jones Act, general maritime law, and relevant federal statutes
  • Experience in litigation, particularly in federal court
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Licensed to practice law in Louisiana

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active member of the Louisiana State Bar
  • Admission to U.S. District Courts in Louisiana (preferred)
